1. I’ve done it! Have confidence knowing that everything I recommend and teach, I’ve done myself.
2. Knowledge. I believe I have the right blend of exercise science and gym science. Some trainers are book smart; they know the rules, positions, mechanics, but have little experience doing the exercises themselves. Others have done the exercises but don’t know much of the science behind it.
3. Interest in you. I take an interest in my clients. Getting in shape, losing weight, gaining muscle is so much more than just the hour or so in the gym. It really does become a way of life.
4. I’ll work with you. Can you only workout before work, or in that short period of time when the kids are at practice? I’ll do my best to work with your schedule and your needs.
5. I’m here to stay. Training is my passion. I’ll be here.
6. You’ll get more than just a workout. I aim to teach you the basis of the exercises we are doing, the reasons behind it. I’ll provide you with a written plan on what it will take to achieve your goals.
7. Diet and Nutrition. You’ll achieve your goals much easier and faster with the right diet and nutrition plan. I know what it takes to gain muscle, run faster, lift more, etc.
8. I speak your language. Semimembranosus? Soleus? Say what? I won’t use terms or say things you won’t understand. Hamstrings and calves are fine with me. No complex math calculations or keeping track of calories!
9. Rates. I do my best to make training affordable.
