RUNNING WORKOUTS

Running is an excellent form of exercise. The benefits are phenomenal and can be addicting. If you’ve seen runners on the road, on the beach, or in the park and wondered “Can I do that?” You can.

I offer training runs from 2 miles to 20 miles. I run with you the entire way at your pace. I take care of all the logistics; water, transportation, safety etc. I use a Garmin GPS wrist watch so we know exactly how far we are running and at what pace.

The marathon is considered the granddaddy of all runs. 26.2 miles is probably not as out of reach from you as you think. The body has an amazing ability to endure and with each successive run, you can go further. I’ll explain and we’ll utilize the latest techniques to conquer the distance.

If running a marathon is not on your list of things to accomplish perhaps a half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K (10 Kilometers – 6.2 miles) or a 5K (5 kilometers – 3.1 miles) is something you can see yourself doing. You can find an average of two organized races on Maui every month.

I can write a training program for you and join you on some training runs. I usually run with my clients on their long run of the week. I can also coach you or run with you on shorter runs, or interval training on the track.
