CrossFit Training is a core strength and conditioning program. The workouts are designed to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. The CrossFit program was developed to enhance an individual's competency at all physical tasks. The goals is to perform successfully at multiple, diverse and random physical challanges.
CrossFit workouts are short and intense. Every workout is timed, and you must try and complete the workout as fast as possible. Every CrossFit workout is different, but has components of strength training and cardiovascular exercises.
If your goal to to lose weight, gain muscle, run faster, have more energy through the day then you should consider a CrossFit workout. I do one CrossFit group workout a week. You are welcome to join us on Saturday mornings. Or I can set up a personal session for you.
CrossFit Training has enjoyed a tremendous growth rate in the past few years. The website (linked below) offers a new workout each day that you can do your own. My workouts differ a bit from the crossfit.com workouts. I prefer to do the workouts outside, and I tend to design workouts with more cardio involved. Either way give CrossFit a try!
